A a 60-year-old US woman came to know that her late husband
was actually her father. Reality was revealed by an uncle of her.
Valerie Spruill identified the truth after six years of his death in 1998.
She is moving in public now with the hope that the ugly past will inspire them who is going through a tuff time, the New York Daily News reported.

"I want this to be more of
an inspirational story," Spruill told the Daily. "If I've come
through this, anyone can come through anything through the help of the Lord."
Ms Spruill's father and mother, Percy Spruill, are known to each other when he was 15. It is unclear how many were the children they had together, though Ms Valerie says she is known about six brothers.
Ms Spruill was taken care by her grandmother since she was 3-months-old.Her family hided many secrets from her.
She also came to know that the man she knew as her father was originally her grandfather; also she realizes that a lady who said she was a close family friend actually was actually her mother.
She said “The story needs to be told, because children need to know where they come from,". "And I know it hurts, because I have been devastated by this."
Ms Valerie's mother, was a "night lady" and she passed away in 1984, she added.
In 2004, Ms Spruill confirmed with a DNA test that her husband was her.

relationship, but she believes he should have known and might have afraid to

She has gone with so much medical treatment for a series of medical problems that she believed stem because of the stress she was in the years after came to know the bitter truth.
Ms Valerie says she is hoping her approach to go into public will help her know about more siblings.
